Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Boston, MA)

Bright Clear Energy Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for service connections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Boston. What you will do • Investigate trends in service connections and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
