Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Boise, ID)

Nova Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Boise, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
