Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Stonegate Linden Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Birmingham. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 66 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on field visits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
