Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Haven Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Birmingham, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Investigate trends in repair requests and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
