Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Bridge Foods and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on ingredient orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
