Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Foxglove Quarry Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on school partnerships. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
