Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Nova Juniper Facilities is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
