Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Westbrook Meridian Foods produces packaged foods at its Birmingham plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer specifications and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on production batches. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
