Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Summit Wren Farms is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in harvest schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
