Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Ember Markets Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
