Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood Vale Construction is a Baltimore contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
