Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Baltimore, MD)

Rivermark Lakeside Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Baltimore. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 543 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter readings. • Python or R for analysis.
