Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Baltimore, MD)

Ironwood Field Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
