Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Cobalt Learning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on student accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
