Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Baltimore, MD)

Greenridge Analytics grows and distributes produce from farms near Baltimore. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 333 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Investigate trends in field records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
