Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Baltimore, MD)

Amberfield Arts Center is an arts centre in Baltimore with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 608 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
