Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Austin, TX)

Westbrook Ember Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the Austin region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 65 people based in Austin. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in onboarding and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on timekeeping. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
