Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Austin, TX)

Summit Meridian Care Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 775 people based in Austin. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in licensing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
