Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 315 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on production lines. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
