Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Pine Medical is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in device records and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
