Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Anchorage, AK)

Northwind Ridge Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in subcontractor invoices and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on materials orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
