Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Anchorage, AK)

Bright Lakeside Freight is a Anchorage logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 372 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
