Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Anchorage, AK)

Highbridge Cedar Health Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in electronic records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
