Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Albuquerque, NM)

Clearpath Oak Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Albuquerque working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
