Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Albuquerque, NM)

Bluepeak Rowan Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Albuquerque, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
