Data Analyst - operations reporting (Wichita, KS)

Bluepeak Keystone Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Wichita, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 646 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Investigate trends in fleet maintenance and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on landfill records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
