Data Analyst - operations reporting (Wichita, KS)

Amberfield Cedar Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Wichita with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in collection routes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
