Data Analyst - operations reporting (Wichita, KS)

Summit Juniper Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on school partnerships. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
