Data Analyst - operations reporting (Wichita, KS)

Ironwood Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on water quality. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
