Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Kestrel Markets Partners serves neighbourhoods around Virginia Beach with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
