Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Maple Staffing places workers with employers around Virginia Beach, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on onboarding.
