Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Thistle Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Virginia Beach, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 764 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in meal programmes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on classroom supplies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
