Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Nova Orchard Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing accounts.
