Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Ember Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in production lines and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
