Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind River Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
