Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for timekeeping, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
