Data Analyst - operations reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Vista Auto Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
