Data Analyst - operations reporting (Tampa, FL)

Nova Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
