Data Analyst - operations reporting (Tampa, FL)

Fernwood Meridian Foods Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in ingredient orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
