Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Summit Forge Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around St. Louis design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
