Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Union Foods and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
