Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Cedar Cross Foods produces packaged foods at its St. Louis plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on cold storage. • Python or R for analysis.
