Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Summit Loom Construction is a St. Louis contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 708 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
