Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Cedar West Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
