Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Nova Thistle Early Learning and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on tuition and subsidies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
