Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Bright Ember Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
