Data Analyst - operations reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Cedar Ashton Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in St. Louis with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
