Data Analyst - operations reporting (Spokane, WA)

Foxglove Beacon Financial serves customers across Spokane with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 55 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in vendor spend and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
