Data Analyst - operations reporting (Spokane, WA)

Rivermark Yarrow Civic Services supports public agencies in Spokane with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in procurement and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on public records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
