Data Analyst - operations reporting (Savannah, GA)

Harborlight Wren Energy is an energy provider in Savannah focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
